Meet Zahra Eizadi
“When love is still there, but connection is gone….”
“We don’t hate each other. We’ve just stopped feeling like partners.”
“Every conversation turns into the same argument.”
“We’re more like roommates than a couple.”
“I don’t know if I can trust my partner again.”
“I miss the closeness we used to have, but I don’t know how to get it back.”
“We love each other, but something feels missing.”
If these thoughts sound familiar, you’re not alone. Many of the couples and individuals I work with aren’t looking to leave their relationship. They’re trying to understand why they feel so disconnected from the person they love. They come to therapy struggling with emotional or physical intimacy, navigating differences in sexual desire, or finding themselves caught in the same painful conflict over and over again.
Whatever brings you to therapy, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to talk about the conversations you’ve been avoiding. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a therapist who is warm, calm, and non-judgmental while also helping them move beyond simply talking about problems. Together, we’ll slow down the cycle that’s keeping you stuck, better understand the emotions and needs underneath it, and identify practical ways to create lasting change. Whether we’re rebuilding trust after betrayal, strengthening emotional connection, improving communication, or addressing intimacy concerns, my goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, your partner, and the relationship you want to build. I believe therapy should leave you feeling not only understood but also hopeful and equipped with practical tools to move forward.
I am a registered psychotherapist with a doctorate in counseling and psychotherapy. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including EFT, CBT, ACT, Object Relations, and sex therapy principles. As part of my doctoral training, my research focused on integrating Emotionally Focused Therapy & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, deepening my understanding of the complex relationship between emotional connection, performance anxiety, and sexual intimacy. This perspective continues to inform my work with individuals and couples experiencing intimacy and sexual concerns. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to understand the patterns that keep them stuck and help them create healthier ways of connecting. Every client brings a unique story, and I tailor therapy to fit your goals, values, and cultural background.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy baking, listening to music, doing some workouts, and of course shopping! I also enjoy traveling and visiting new places whenever there is an opportunity.
