Privacy Policy
Privacy of personal information is a core principle at Tri Health Clinic. The Tri Health Clinic is committed to collecting, using, and disclosing personal information responsibly, and only to the extent necessary for the provision of psychological services. We strive to be open and transparent in how our clinic handles personal health information. This document outlines our privacy practices.
Initial Contact & Therapeutic Relationship
Please note: submitting an inquiry or contact form through www.trihealthclinic.com does not initiate a therapeutic relationship. You are not considered a client of Tri Health Clinic until a mutual agreement is made between you and one of our clinicians to begin services. Until that point, you are considered a member of the general public.
What Is Personal Health Information?
“Personal health information” refers to identifying information about an individual relating to their physical or mental health, health history, the provision of health care, and other sensitive information (e.g., contact details, gender, ethnic background, family or relationship status). This differs from business contact information, which is not protected under privacy legislation.
Who We Are
Tri Health Clinic operates under Jennifer Bossio Psychology Professional Corporation and is a multidisciplinary mental health clinic based in Ontario. All clinicians practicing at Tri Health Clinic are either registered with a regulatory college or work under the supervision of a registered provider. In some cases, consultants or service providers (e.g., administrative staff, IT consultants, lawyers, accountants, or software providers) may have limited access to personal information. We limit access wherever possible and require assurance that all third parties adhere to privacy best practices.
